Historical Data

*When reviewing the archived data, compare it to the graphs provided as well*

FEBRUARY:
As we can see in the historical data, the average temperatures for February 2011 compared to previous February's was all over the place. For the majority of February 2011, temperatures were well below the average temperatures in the archived data.

MARCH:
The temperatures for March 2011 compared to previous March's is a little crazy. As you can see below, and in the graphs below the data analysis tab, the temperature went back and forth between being a little above normal to significantly below the normal. This is especially noticeable at the end of March, beginning the 23rd, when the temperatures were at least 10 below the the normal.

APRIL:
Similar to March, April's temperatures were extremely diverse from previous years throughout the month. In the beginning, the temperatures did not differ as much. However, by the 9th and even more so on the 10th, the temperature was significantly higher than previous years. Then by the 14th and continuing through the rest of the month, temperatures were significantly colder than previous years. It definitely was not as warm as many in the Eau Claire area were used to and wanted for this month. In other words, spring eventually came in May.
