Wednesday, May 11th

I was semi-accurate in my predictions for today. It rained only a little bit, but definitely not the thunderstorms I was expecting. Currently, conditions are fair. It is 64 degrees and only a 2 mph SE wind. It is hard to tell what type of clouds are in the sky, but I'm guessing it is similar to what it has been all day - altostratus with some cirrus. These clouds along with the SE should be producing some rain beginning within the next few hours. I predict that tomorrow will be similar to today again, but with prominent rain.

Tuesday, May 10th

I was wrong in my prediction I made yesterday. We have yet to receive any precipitation today. Currently it is 75 degrees with fair conditions. There is a 13mph ESE wind, but is gusting up to 21 mph. The sun is shining brightly, however there are some high altostratus clouds. Although the weather is beautiful right now, there is some strong precipitation headed our way. We can expect thunderstorms this evening, and tomorrow morning as well.

Monday, May 9

It is downpouring out there today! Currently, it is 54 degrees with a powerful 34-38 mph wind from the ESE. Crazy weather! The clouds are stratus, but earlier this morning my roommate told me there was a wall cloud! So jealous that she got to see that and not me! But a wall cloud means business, and business is definitely what Mother Nature is giving Eau Claire the rest of today and tomorrow. Tomorrow will be similar to today, thunderstorms and strong winds. It will be warmer tomorrow as well.

Monday, May 2nd

Currently it is a chilly 35 degrees. I can't tell what type of clouds there are because it's so dark, but earlier today they were definitely stratus clouds with zero sunshine, sadly. So far May has not been meeting my high expectations. I predict that there will be similar conditions tomorrow - chilly, but some sunshine.
